We are dog lovers who enjoy exercise and the outdoors. When searching for a company to provide exercise for our family dog, we discovered that none existed locally. There were many options for dog walking but nobody could provide the exercise and variety of activities that many dogs need. Knowing how important exercise is for the mental and physical well-being of dogs, we opened Rover Runs in February 2013.

Since then we have helped many families improve their lives and the lives of their dogs by providing vital exercise and a healthier mind and body. Our services have grown to fit the needs of our clients, which now include playdates and pet sitting. We are very proud of the feedback and devotion we have earned.

Rover Runs, LLC, is a family owned company based in Clinton Township, NJ. Our coverage area is continuously expanding as we strive to help more families. We take our job very seriously, as caring for your loved ones is a big responsibility. We are insured, and certified in animal CPR and first aid, as every pet care company should be.

We welcome the opportunity to care for your dog – the truth is, it’s fun! We love the happy dances we share with your dog upon our arrival. Contact us if your dog needs a daily walk, more exercise, some playtime, or trusted care in your absence.

Nancy Ritclin

Nancy Ritclin

Nancy joined Rover Runs in 2018. A NJ native, she grew up in Titusville, a beautiful town next to historic Washington Crossing Park. An avid animal and nature lover, Nancy spent her summers volunteering at the Nature Center.

Nancy is a favorite among our Rovers who love to hike. Sometimes she spends the entire day on 30-60 minute individual hikes. Nancy doesn’t mind hiking in the mud, rain, scorching heat or frigid below zero temperatures; things favored but some of our die hard Rovers. A very positive and upbeat person, Nancy finds the beauty in mud, rain, ice and, well everything.

Nancy and her husband have lived in Kingwood Township for many years. They raised 3 children and 3 dogs, two Jack Russells and a Black Mouth Cur mix. After 20 working as a Certified Dental Assistant for Orlando Family Dentistry in Hopewell for 20 years, Nancy decided to devote her time to her children and her passion for animals. Rover Runs and it’s many Rovers who love to hike, are so happy she did!
